Last weekend went back to Melaka. The contractor brought us to the shop to choose for tiles and also to decide on painting. So here are the latest updates. Plaster ceiling works are all done. The undercoat painting are almost finish. Wiring works are completed, except for the plugs and the switches which would be installed once the electricity connected. And also if you notice on the outside wall, the borders are already there.
Next, the contractor will go for the tiling works and also bulding the toilet on the same time. Which I estimate would take around one or two weeks to complete. Then they will continue with painting. I guess all together it would take about three or four weeks, which means they will be able to complete it just before hari raya. The only thing I afraid of is the electricity supply from TNB and water supply from Syarikat Bekalan Air Melaka. They said it would normally take about one month to settle. We are just praying... hopefully we'll be able to celebrate hari raya this year in a new house here in Melaka, InsyaAllah.
